In February of 2005 my wife and daughters embarked on a remarkable three week trip to the far side of the world: The Coromandel Peninsula, North Island, New Zealand. There, at the historic seaside village of Hahei, they explored the mysteries of this Kiwi paradise: deer sausage, Hokey Pokey ice cream, boogie boarding, the giant Mola-mola, and places where "wh" is pronounced "f."
