I had a better night. I made Elizabeth sleep next
to Emily on the floor, she was too wiggly and was
moving the bed too much. She also had awesomely bad
gas! I don't know what she had been eating. Only to
the bathroom four times and after every trip I ate a
quarter of a banana and tried to drink a lot of water.
I woke in the morning feeling weak but a bit more
energetic. I slowly cleaned up the room. Mom brought
me some scrambled eggs and toast, juice and tea. I
ate about a tablespoon of the eggs and about three
small bites of the toast. I drank most of the tea and
about half the juice. I would have probably drank all
the juice but Elizabeth spilled half of it. I put
away all the laundry Mom had kindly washed for us, got
dressed in nice clean clothes and took my dishes
downstairs. I got a big cheer when they saw me. It
was nice being downstairs. I said hello to Doug and
Jan Jonas who had arrived yesterday and then I got the
girls to work on their homework, sorely neglected the
past couple days. Dad's voice is almost gone. I
spent the rest of the morning and some of the
afternoon updating this. My appetite is returning and
what I am eating is not knotting up my gut and then
being immediately ejected anymore. I told people that
yesterday I was a three, this morning I was a 6 and
now I am up to a 7. Derek, Kacie, Debbie and Aundine
are heading up the Pa and I might try to email this to
you. I have to format the photos. Talk to you later.
Indeed, at last telephone report, Dawn was an "8". It's nice to travel (according to some), but it isn't much fun being sick far from home. I'm happy Dawn's feeling better.
