1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 eggs
(To be served with roast beef)
About one hour before beef is to be taken from oven, mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Make a well and add milk and water. Stir until fluffy and mix in the eggs. Beat until large bubbles rise in the surface. Just before cooking, beat again. When you remove roast to set it up, put about teaspoon of drippings into each cup of a muffin pan. Por in enough batter to fill cups about half way. Put into a 400° oven; cook 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake ten minutes more. Serve at once.
