2 cups sugar
1/3 cups fresh lime juice
1/4 cups water
1 quart strawberries,washed & hulled
Combine liquids in a bowl; whisk in sugar and let stand until sugar is almost completely dissolved, about 15 minutes. (Mixture will be thick.) In food processor, combine the juice mix and berries. Blend until smooth and ladle into ice cube trays; freeze. Freeze in sealed bags. For each drink, combine in blender jar: 2 oz rum, 2 cubes of mix and 3/4 cup ice.
